The Florida United Methodist Foundation, Inc., administers two low-interest student loan programs exclusively for United Methodist students.

The Campbell Trust Student Loan Program is open to any full-time student attending a junior college, senior college, university or seminary or other institutions for educational or occupational training beyond the high school level. First consideration goes to Florida residents attending institutions related to the United Methodist Church in Florida. Second consideration goes to Florida residents attending institutions related to the United Methodist Church outside of Florida. Other consideration will be given to Florida residents attending non-church-related institutions and, finally, to non-Florida residents attending church-related institutions. The amount of the loans granted will be dependent upon the funds available and upon the number of approved applicants. The Hilburn Prine Student Loan Program is open to students who are pursuing a degree or certificate in a Christian educational field. This may include pastors, directors of Christian education, children and youth counselors, teachers, youth coordinators and children and youth directors associated with Christian schools, local after school programs or camping ministries. Applicants must be full-time students attending a junior college, senior college, university or seminary or other institutions of higher education beyond high school. The amount of the loans granted will be dependent upon the funds available and upon the number of approved applicants. Application for fall term loans must be made no earlier than July 1 and no later than July 31. Loan decisions for fall term loans will be made by August 15. Application for spring term loans must be made no earlier than November 1 and no later that November 30. Loan decisions for spring term loans will be made by December 15.
