This fund is the largest single apportionment for local churches. It funds supplemental salary and benefit programs provided by the conference to local clergy, including group life insurance, disability insurance, equitable compensation and health insurance subsidies for retired clergy. The fund partially supports the bishop’s office and residence; provides salary and benefits for district superintendents and funds the Conference Office of Ministry.
