The Foundation’s Managed Funds are a series of separate portfolios that are managed by the Foundation, each with a specific investment objective. The Stock Fund invests primarily in common stocks of large well-established companies. The Balanced Fund invests primarily in a combination of equity and debt securities that seek both current income and capital appreciation. The Income Fund offers investors a consistent stream of interest and dividend income with modest capital appreciation objectives.
The Foundation contracts with Bowen Hanes & Company, a registered investment advisor under the Investment Advisors Act of 1940, to supervise and manage funds invested in the Stock Fund and Balanced Fund. The Income Fund is managed by Pacific Income Advisors. Smith Barney Citigroup serves as custodian of the assets invested in the Stock Fund, Balanced Fund and Income Fund, and provides independent performance analysis of all investment funds.
