FOUNDATION LAUNCHES EMERGENCY GRANT PROGRAM
The Foundation has created a new emergency grant program to benefit churches and Conference agencies. Funding for the grant program is tied to the growth of the Foundation during the previous fiscal year, and is set annually by the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.
The amount of available funding and the number and size of grants awarded may vary from year to year. Churches may apply for the grants at any time during the calendar year.
The grants are intended to help churches overcome a one-time emergency or crisis that could significantly impair ministries. A crisis is something that has resulted from events beyond the church's control. Churches must submit a recovery plan and proposed budget as part of the application process. Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
